MINISTERING INTERVIEWS - THIS SUNDAY FEBRUARY 10th from 2:15-8:00pm

We are pleased with the response of those that have signed up for ministering interviews this Sunday.  We still have available times and know some of you have not had the chance to sign up.  Since this is the only day we'll be conducting these interviews this quarter we ask you to please contact Cheryl Carter to solidify your spot.  If there is no way possible for you to make it this Sunday we ask you to take the responsibility of contacting a presidency member before the end of February.  We look forward to meeting with each of you in a few days!  Love, Valerie, Stephanie and Gentry

Ideas to Improve Your Personal Scripture Study

The first Sunday of each month, we will feature tips and ideas to improve your family or personal scripture study.

Look for Inspiring Words and Phrases

You may find that certain words and phrases in the scriptures impress you, as if they were written specifically for you. They may feel personally relevant and inspire and motivate you. Consider marking them in your scriptures or writing them in a study journal.

Ministering to our Sisters

"There are so many ways we can show we care. We can say it, text it, write it, give it, share it, pray it, bake it, sing it, hug it, play it, plant it, or clean it. Simply try it".

Showing love to others is at the very heart of ministering. Relief Society General President Jean B. Bingham said: “True ministering is accomplished one by one with love as the motivation. … With love as the motivation, miracles will happen, and we will find ways to bring our ‘missing’ sisters and brothers into the all-inclusive embrace of the gospel of Jesus Christ.”

MINISTERING INTERVIEWS - SUNDAY FEBRUARY 10th from 2:15-8:00pm

------------------

The elders quorum president and the Relief Society president communicate important needs directly to the bishop and will receive counsel and direction from him.

"A new name, new flexibility, and fewer reports will not make one ounce of difference in our service unless we see this as an invitation to care for one another in a bold new holier way."
