It's a Wrap.... What will you do with it now?
Spiritual Thought - Val Green
What a wonderful General Conference we just had! Hearing the words of our prophet and apostles and other church leaders has left me wanting to do better and be better.
As I listened and took notes through the first session of conference, I could feel my Heavenly Father’s love for me as prayers were answered to questions and thoughts I had been having. I love how personal the messages are for each of us, how we can be hearing the same words but receiving our own personal revelation and hearing what our Heavenly Father wants us to know as individuals.
I’m excited to continue receiving personal instruction from above as I continue to listen and study these talks for the next 6 months. It is our hope as a presidency that you too will continue to study and learn what our prophet and apostles deem important for our day, and as you do so, that you may continue to have prayers and questions answered for you and your family.

Ministering to our Sisters
What is Ministering?
What Can I Do?
The ways in which we can love and minister to one another are limitless. Every child of God is unique; therefore, effective ministering must be highly individualized and led by the Spirit. What works for one may not work for another. Leaders have encouraged church members to begin ministering with prayer, Keep it simple, and learn what works best for those we are called to serve. Ministering today no longer requires a formal visit. Interaction can take place at home, at church, or in any setting that is safe and convenient.
Sister Jean B. Bingham said, "Sometimes we think we have to do sometjong grand and heroic to count as serving our neighbors. Yet simple acts of service can have a profound effect on others - as well as ourselves."

The elders quorum president and the Relief Society president communicate important needs directly to the bishop and will receive counsel and direction from him.
"A new name, new flexibility, and fewer reports will not make one ounce of difference in our service unless we see this as an invitation to care for one another in a bold new holier way."

Please pray for her to have the strength and endurance to continue to help her daughter and family and that things may improve soon so she can come home. She also asks if you want to contact her to do it through email as phone service is very spotty where she is at.
