Ideas to Improve Your Personal Scripture Study
The first Sunday of each month, we will feature tips and ideas to improve your family or personal scripture study.
Elder David A. Bednar taught: “Each family prayer, each episode of family scripture study, and each family home evening is a brushstroke on the canvas of our souls. No one event may appear to be very impressive or memorable. But just as the yellow and gold and brown strokes of paint complement each other and produce an impressive masterpiece, so our consistency in doing seemingly small things can lead to significant spiritual results”
Act Out a Story
After reading a story, invite family members to act it out. Afterward, talk about how the story relates to the things that you are experiencing individually and as a family.

March 7th - (From the Elder's Quorum Presidenty) This Thursday night, 7:00 PM at our building, will be our first Thursday of the month activity, and will be a preparedness fair. There will be discussions about food, water, shelter, 72 hour kits and more! And also food samples!
March 7th - Our stake will be holding 4 different 12-week workshops on various topics in Self Reliance. It is a wonderful opportunity for those who would be interested in attending. The format is similar to the “Come Follow Me” curriculum where you study on your own and come to the group to share and build a cohort of people who can offer support and insight. The workshops are conducting by discussion leaders with some experience in the related topic.
